We’re so excited to introduce our Coaches for Camp Training Ground! These young men and women were handpicked for their stellar attitudes, work ethic, sportsmanship, and joy in working with kids. We can’t wait to get to work with this team at our upcoming Sports & P.E. camp in just a few days!
My name is Cameron and I’m 18 years old. I always have a great time working with kids because kids always have a way of finding enjoyment and getting the most out of the limited moment that God has given us. I work with kids every Sunday at the church I attend, and even there they teach me numerous lessons. I’ve played sports of many kinds in the past including hockey, football and others. Kids and sports seems like a brilliant combination and I feel as if I’d be missing out if I didn’t participate!
I am Aaron Bowser. I am 18 years old and love working with kids, and helping them grow. I have previously played high school football so I do know a thing or two about the game. A fun fact about me is that I love Pokémon!
Hello! My name is Danny and I am sixteen years old going into 11th grade. I am so excited to be a coach this year because sports are such a valuable thing that need to be taught. My favorite sport is basketball as I have always enjoyed playing it outside, and watching the NBA and the NCAA. I swim for Heritage High School, and have swam for 6 years. It’s going to be a fun and energetic time. I love watching kids grow in a skill that they have been working on. Everybody gets better, and this is why I coached a 4th grade basketball team and work with kids at Pump It Up! One random fact about me is that I do not like bacon.
Hi my name is Dylan McShaffrey, I am a junior at Heritage high school. My favorite activities/hobbies include football, swimming, track, and fishing. Working with kids has always been one of my favorite things because I love having fun with them and seeing their smiles. I teach kids every Sunday at church and I love working with them. I can’t wait to work with these kids at this camp and overall just have a great time.
I love working with kids and always have. Whether it’s teaching in Sunday school to playing pick up sports with the younger kids in my neighborhood. There is just something about watching kids play sports that brings me a lot of joy. My favorite Sports are soccer and football, but as long as I’m running around I am happy. A fun fact about me is that I am homeschooled.
Hi, I’m Elena, and I love working with kids of all ages! I’ve had a blast leading kids’ small groups at my church from preschool through 5th grade. I played soccer and still love staying active. I can’t wait to experience all the fun at camp with the kids, and hope this week makes a positive difference in their lives.
