For Fall 2023, Stemtree will be offering Robo Fun Robotics for Grades 3-6 at the Claude Moore Park location of Open Air.
Stemtree Engineering Program
All facets of our life are affected by engineering — genetic, civil, software — just to name a few. To be
successful in the field of engineering, creative problem solving abilities are a must. Stemtree
Engineering program uses the wonder and genius of robots to inspire students to learn engineering,
apply their knowledge and skills of basic science, model construction, computer programming, and
problem solving to explore STEM concepts. This is both a perfect introduction to the world of robotics for
younger students and an opportunity to expand the knowledge base of older students.
We provide students a curriculum to apply scientific analysis to learn the basics of engineering.
Content Focus:
o Use of computer, learn programming language, develop critical thinking, problem solving and
construction skills.
o Students will be assessed in case they have already taken engineering related concepts.
o Students’ proficiency in Robotics are assessed during the first session. Based on the
outcome of the assessment, we divide the students into groups of no more than 2 students
based on their grade and robotics knowledge levels.
