Spring 2025 Robotics Class 

Snapology will be offering a Robotics class as an elective at Open Air’s Claude Moore Park location during the optional 3rd hour from 11 AM – 12 PM.  This class is open to students who are already enrolled in the Spring 2025 Base Package of the Open Air Electives program at Claude Moore Park.

Class Minimum: 6;  Class Maximum: 20.

I understand that physical fitness and sports include a reasonable amount of risk of injury. I indemnify and hold harmless GamePoint Athletics and its employees and volunteers from responsibility in the event of loss, damage, or injury resulting from participation in its camps or classes.
I authorize GamePoint Athletics to seek medical treatment for my child in the event of an emergency where I cannot be reached.
I understand that photos and videos of camps and classes will be used to promote GamePoint Athletics online and in local media. I give my consent for my child’s photos and videos to be used for promotional material.

For Spring 2025, Snapology will be offering Junior Robotics for Grades K-2 and GameBots for Grades 3-6 at the Claude Moore Park location of Open Air.  These classes will take place in the same pavilion space, with students working on the program applicable to their grade level.

GameBots (3rd-6th) 
In this game-focused robotics program, your engineer will explore the basics of robotics while
playing some really awesome games with and against their classmates! While working with a
partner to complete various challenges, your student will be taught how to effectively utilize sensors, how different mechanical components work in their robots, and how programming is a challenging but rewarding skill that they can master with just a little practice. We will support them in the development of their coding and building skills and inspire them with creative building challenges and awesome games!
Junior Robotics (K-2nd) 
In this robotics program, your little engineer will begin to explore the world of robotics as they build simple models that teach the fundamentals of robotic design. Whether learning about motors while building drills and catapults or exploring how to use sensors while playing with a magic wand or a goal kicker, we’re certain your child will have a great time while they are learning a ton about robots and how to work effectively with a partner!

Cancellation Policy

Open Air class registration is fully refundable up to 30 days before classes begin. Thereafter, class registration can only be refunded if a child from the waitlist takes the cancelled spot. Once classes have begun, registration is non-refundable.
